Give Referral Feedback

Track what’s in your referral pipeline and help our Appetite Engine™ deliver you better referrals in the future.

After your agency receives a referral through TrustedChoice.com, you have the ability to update the status of the prospect with options that mirror your sales path, all the way from first contact to winning or losing the business. Updating your prospect status is a win-win because it allows you to track what’s in your referral pipeline and also helps our Appetite Engine™ get smarter, improving what kinds of referrals you get in the future. Here’s how you update the status of your prospects and give referral feedback:

Option 1: Click the link in the referral or feedback reminder email

At the bottom of every referral notification email there is a Tell us How it Went link. Clicking this link will take you to the prospect record in your account. If you don’t provide feedback after a few days, you will get a feedback reminder email that also contains a link to update the status.

Option 2: Log in to your account and go to the Prospects menu item

You’ll see a list of all the prospects that have contacted your agency. You can sort by column and/or filter by status to find the prospect you want to update. Then, click the row to view the prospect record.

Then, update the prospect status and give feedback

  1. Click the Update Status button.
  2. Choose your status:
    1. If you’re actively working the prospect, you can select options such as “In Progress” or “Quote Sent”. Be sure to come back periodically to update the status as the prospect moves through your sales pipeline.
    2. If you won the business, select “Bound Prospect” and then provide as much detail as possible about the policies sold. The more detail, the better.
    3. If the referral didn’t work out for you, select “Unable to Service” and then select a reason why.
