A new Appetite Engine™ algorithm provides greater accuracy and enhanced carrier clarity for digital insurance referral generation to independent insurance agents.

MINNEAPOLIS – announced the release of their new enhanced referral connection algorithm, called The Appetite Engine™. In conjunction with the release of The Appetite Engine™, reports record insurance carrier participation.

“Our new Appetite Engine™ algorithm is changing the way insurance buyers find the right insurance solution for their needs,” said CEO Chip Bacciocco.  “Insurance companies served by independent agents are clearly seeing positive results from their agents participating at the Advantage-level of  That’s driving new, and expanded, insurance carrier participation which creates a better insurance buyer experience and ultimately more new business for independent insurance agents.” now has more than 60 carriers actively participating.  In August, added six new insurance carrier participants including:

  • Berkley North Pacific (commercial lines)
  • Berkley Southeast (commercial lines)
  • Acuity (commercial and personal lines)
  • Berkley Mid-Atlantic (commercial lines)
  • Continental Western (commercial lines)
  • Republic Insurance (commercial and personal lines)

In addition, five incumbent insurance carriers increased their participation. These insurance carriers include:

  • Preferred Mutual Insurance
  • Mercury Insurance
  • Penn National
  • Sterling Insurance
  • Nationwide/Allied
