About us
F. A. Peabody Insurance is a family company with roots dating back to 1927 in the town of Houlton, Maine. Frank Allen Peabody started the business as a property casualty insurance agency. In recent years, it has added the sale of life, health and group benefits; third party administration; and broadband internet services. Formerly known as F.A. Peabody Company, our agency has been transitioning to the name F.A. Peabody Insurance to better state our services.
Our mission is to provide quality insurance products and services for businesses and individuals. These products include home insurance, auto insurance, business insurance, and life and health insurance. We also have agents that specialize in commercial niches such as trucking, logging, taxi services, churches, fuel oil dealers, farms, commercial fishing, and more.
F.A. Peabody Insurance has offices in 13 towns across Maine. You'll find us in Houlton, Madawaska, Caribou, Presque Isle, Mars Hill, Sherman, Lincoln, Calais, Hampden, Millinocket, Palermo, Milo, and Westbrook. We also serve the entire state online with state-of-the-art digital communication systems.
