About us
I started in the Insurance and Financial Services Industry in June of 1992 with Horace Mann Educators Insurance. I spent from 1992 to 1999 as an employee agent with Horace Mann. In December of 1999 I started with Allstate Insurance Company. In June of 2020, during the Covid Pandemic my Allstate agency was closed and Counterman Insurance, an Independent Insurance Brokerage was born.
In 2004 I graduated from the Leadership in Life Institute, a leadership program through the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. I am a Past NAIFA-Centennial President, as well as a Past NAIFA-Colorado State President. I am also a new Member of The Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Colorado (PIIAC-Big I)
I have been a Member of the Kiwanis Club of Columbine for 6 years. I am a past recipient of the 7-News Everyday Hero Award. I have done Grant and Volunteer Work for Integrated Family Community Services in Englewood Colorado, The Action Center, LOVE INC-Littleton, Seeds of South Sudan, and The Foothills Cropwalk. I am also a Lifelong Jazz Musician (Saxophone), now doing Volunteer work through my foundation, Jazz Hands Foundation Band.
