Len Briskman is a small business mentor with the nonprofit organization SCORE. He has decades of experience in retail, franchising and management, transforming a failing Midwestern retail chain into a publicly traded company ranked as one of the top 100 public companies in the Washington, D.C. area during the 1980s and 1990s.
He has since operated a Business Advisory Service to counsel businesses on financing, turnarounds and government contracting and regulation. He continues to serve as a mentor and consultant for small businesses and is a lead advisor with the D.C. chapter of SCORE.
He holds a B.A. in Economics and an MBA in Finance, both from New York University.
