NFP provides numerous coverage options for individuals and businesses across the US and other locations. However, the insurance company’s website is not detailed in a satisfactory manner, and does not list their claims process or provide a claims response timeframe promise for their customers. NFP is also totally missing many modern customer service features such as online claims reporting and online bill pay. The carrier all around does not provide a user-friendly experience for prospective or existing customers. NFP’s customer contact options feel archaic compared to most other modern carriers, with only a general contact form available through the official website. Most disturbingly, however, is the high volume of customer dissatisfaction outlined in the numerous dismal reviews across the web. Customers mainly seem upset with subpar customer service practices through the carrier. No matter how good their coverage, if an insurance company doesn’t take care of its customers, it’s just not worth the investment in our eyes. So, overall we say that if you’re on the hunt for your next trusted carrier, work with your independent insurance agent to survey your other options, and perhaps skip looking into NFP entirely.
