Customize Your Claim-it Settings

This is a quick video to help you to get logged in, set up your appetite, set up notifications, and set up your personal payments so you can start claiming referrals right away with Claim-it.

0:00 Introduction and Logging In

  • Open a browser and go to https://www.trustedchoice.com
  • Click “Login” in the upper right corner.
  • Enter your email address (or Big “I” credentials) and password.
  • If you forgot your password, use the “Forgot Password” link.

0:27 Updating Account Information

  • Go to “Settings” in the upper right corner then choose “Account Information”.
  • Review and update your email address (optional).
  • Enter a mobile phone number for text notifications (recommended).
  • Enter a direct office phone number (optional) for Claim-it referral emails.
  • Click “Save” after making any changes.

1:02 Verifying Your Phone Number

  • A confirmation code will be sent to your new mobile phone number.
  • Enter the code and click “Authorize SMS”.

2:04 Customizing Notification Settings

  • Go to “Settings” > “Notifications”.
  • Turn on “Email Notifications” and “Text Notifications”.
  • Set your preferred time zone and text notification frequency.
  • Set the location radius for receiving Claim-it referrals (default: statewide).
  • Click “Save” after making any changes.

4:26 Adjusting Your Appetite

  • Go to “Settings” > “Appetite”.
  • Customize your desired range for:
  • Estimated premium amounts
  • Lines of business
  • Consumer insurance situation (personal lines)
  • Premiums, lines of business, business size, years in business, and industries (commercial lines)
  • Specific life and annuity products
  • Click “Save” after making any changes in each category.

6:01 Setting Up Personal Payment

  • Go to “Settings” > “Claim-it Personal Payment”.
  • Enter your credit card information.
  • Click “Save” to complete setup.
