Independent insurance agencies can improve their relevance score with their Advantage profile with these simple strategies.

New Algorithm Gives Agents More Control Over Relevance Score

Being an Advantage agency on got better! Our recommendation engine’s look and algorithm got a facelift to better match you with online insurance shoppers looking to work with an independent insurance agent.

The recommendation engine has always considered account factors such as location, appetite preference, profile completeness, and your agency’s subscription level. Our new consumer-to-agent recommendation algorithm now takes a couple of new factors into account, like consumer ratings and appointments with participating companies that have an appetite for the risk.

For a better consumer experience, we have a more modular layout in which online insurance shoppers can easily filter through the search results.

And for the first time, consumers can see a “match” score for the recommended agencies. You own your relevance score — and to improve your score, make sure to completely fill out your profile, request reviews, and add carrier appointments. By following these simple strategies, your agency profile can have a higher score when being recommended, and in turn, more consumers will pick you for their insurance needs.

With these new changes, it’s a great time to log in to your profile and make updates that will improve your relevancy score. Remember, our Client Success Team is always here to help you improve your profile. You can reach us at
