First Independent Insurance Agency is one of Macomb County's largest and most established Independent Insurance agencies.
We are an independent insurance agency with two locations in Lapeer and Macomb counties. As independent agents go, First Independent-Descamps Agency represents more insurance companies than most, with a well-rounded mix of national, regional, and state-based carriers, giving us the ability to keep our customers in the best possible position when it comes to price and coverage. We differ from the direct writers such as State Farm, Allstate, AAA, and Geico in that we are not employed by an insurance company; we work for you! We are here to advise you when you have a question about coverage, or are experiencing a claim. The position of being "independent" places our focus on what your needs are, not the insurance company's.
