I have lived in the Reading, Michigan area all my life. I have been married to my wife Serena since 1988. My early years were spent in the agriculture industry. My family owned and operated a country grain elevator for over 50 years. In 2001 we sold the business to a larger firm. I then went on for a year and a half to manage the fertilizer and crop protection side of the business for the new owners. In mid-2003 that business was closed, and the assets were auctioned off.
My insurance career started in July of 2003 selling supplemental cancer plans door to door for Family Heritage Life Insurance Company. That lasted until April of 2004 when I opened the Chuck Newton Insurance Agency. In early 2019 I made a change from a captive agent to an independent agent to offer more options to meet the needs of my community. My goal for this agency has always been customer focused and doing what is right and fair for you.
