Trusted Choice's Infinity Insurance Agency, Inc. Score

2 Stars

We award Infinity Insurance Agency, Inc. a final rating of 2 out of 5 stars. While Infinity has a good rating for financial strength from AM Best, it has a poor Better Business Bureau (BBB) rating and is not accredited by the organization. Infinity has also received poor ratings by the NAIC and J.D. Power. Many customer reviews are, unfortunately, negative as well.

Infinity Insurance was founded in 1955 in Birmingham, AL. The carrier was acquired by Kemper Corporation in 2018. Infinity provides auto insurance for high-risk drivers in California. Other types of coverage, including business auto insurance, are available in a few select states.

Infinity's average auto insurance rates are much higher than the national average. Unless you're a high-risk driver in California, the carrier's products may not be right for you. Overall, we recommend working together with a local independent insurance agent to find a more reputable carrier than Infinity.

Infinity Insurance Auto Insurance Average Prices

However, it's important to note that Infinity's auto insurance products are aimed at high-risk drivers, which could cause higher premium rates than average. Here are some average rates for car insurance from Infinity by driver age:

Infinity Average Annual Car Insurance Prices by Driver Age

Driver Age National Full Coverage Policy Premium Infinity Full Coverage Policy Premium
16 $5,080 $8,950
18 $4,376 $8,536

Methodology

Average rates for car insurance were based on a sample driver who is 40 years old and has a good credit score and clean driving record. The sample customer was quoted for an auto insurance policy with bodily injury liability coverage of $300,000 per accident and $100,000 per person, property damage liability coverage of $50,000 per accident, personal injury protection coverage of $100,000 per accident, and uninsured motorist bodily injury coverage of $300,000 per accident and $100,000 per person. The driver's collision and comprehensive coverages each had a $500 deductible.

What Discounts Does Infinity Insurance Offer?
