Infosys Review

Infosys McCamish Systems (IMS) is a U.S.-based subsidiary of Infosys BPM, focusing on technology platforms and services for the financial services industry, particularly in life insurance, workplace products, and retirement solutions. They provide solutions for a wide range of insurance products, distribution models, and deployment options, aiming to improve efficiency and reduce costs for their clients. Infosys has been providing insurance software solutions and other services in the U.S. for over 22 years.

Infosys McCamish currently provides end-to-end product, plan design, documentation, and comprehensive administrative solutions for a wide range of employer-sponsored and voluntary insurance benefit plans, with a heavy focus on AI solutions.

Infosys McCamish is one of the largest group universal life (GUL) insurance plan administrators in the U.S. The company supports employee insurance benefit products and plans, plan design, documentation, enrollment, and comprehensive ongoing administration for the most sophisticated plans.

It employs proprietary platforms and expert back office services that are shared in two U.S. locations: Des Moines, Iowa, and Atlanta, Georgia. Moreover, Infosys is focused on helping plan sponsors achieve and maintain the maximum plan design flexibility while meeting the required mandates, including product requirements, applicable ERISA welfare benefit plan requirements, privacy requirements, and all other federal and state regulatory compliance requirements.

A star review is not applicable or appropriate for Infosys. It does not market insurance policies, but provides software solutions for businesses that market group term life insurance, permanent life insurance, universal life insurance, voluntary universal life insurance, disability insurance, and voluntary employer-sponsored welfare benefits insurance programs.

For that reason, Infosys and Infosys McCamish do not fit within our normal categories for evaluating insurance companies and assigning a rating.

If you’re looking for a particular type of business or personal insurance, contact an independent insurance agent for help finding a carrier and getting quotes for coverage.
