AIC Customer Reviews

Better Business Bureau
This place is extremely difficult to work with when they are being held liable for damages. They act as if there is only one point of contact and it's impossible to get someone else to help you. [. . . ] I can't think of another time where I've been lied to and manipulated to the extent that [the claims adjuster] has. Stay away from this place! And if you're on the other side, like I am, hire a lawyer!! She refuses to forward me to a manager or a different agent to help me. She said she has reviewed my case along with a manager but cannot provide proof or let me talk to the person who did the review. These people are bad news!!!

Better Business Bureau
[ . . . ] I asked to speak to [the claims adjuster's] supervisor and asked her supervisor's name and she indicated that she REFUSES to give me that information and that she's going to hang up on me and she did. I called my agent to inform them of what occurred and to ask them if they can obtain the name of the supervisor. We called them on a three-way call. [They] told them a totally different story. She also on that call refused to get her supervisor and she also hung up on us, again.

Better Business Bureau
I wish I could give this company zero stars. I despise this insurance! I was hit by a driver insured through this company. The driver merged right into me and AIC refuses to take responsibility. [. . . ] I will be taking this case to small claims and my insurance will send this claim to arbitration. I have read nothing positive on this company and now I know why. They have no understanding of professionalism. Period.

TrustedChoice.com's Final Review

We award Accident Insurance Company a final rating of 2 out of 5 stars. For starters, AIC is one of the younger carriers around today, with less than two decades under their belt. The insurance company is not rated by AM Best and has a lower than average rating through the BBB.

It's difficult to find customer feedback for the carrier, and the only feedback to be seen are very negative accounts. AIC also only currently offers two types of insurance in less than half the states across the US. So, our final recommendation is to work with your independent insurance agent to survey your other options, and skip looking into AIC.
