One agent, who lives in San Diego area, contacted my friends in my Emergency List without my permission and annoyed them to get a policy through him. Also, the premium was increased by about 40% in the beginning of this month without any of notice or my permission. I reviewed my plan a week ago from today and there was not supposed to be any type of increase in premium. I also see a lot of issues with cancellation of this company. If that happens to me, I would just request to stop the payment directly through my bank.

HORRIBLE!! HORRIBLE!! HORRIBLE!! I have proof of my policies being cancelled and I am still having payments deducted from my bank account!!! How can we come together and sue this company?

They never got anything right, took forever, and they called and harassed us worse than a collection agency. When I finally canceled them on the 9th way in time before the 25th when the money comes out, they overdrafted my bank account. When they finally put the money on, it wasn't even the right amount they took. Worst company I have ever dealt with!!!!!

I have had a policy with American Income for several years. The sales process was easy, two people met with me over zoom to explain their options as well as what I have through work. It was an easy and quick experience. Really appreciate it, I just updated and upgrade my coverage with them.

I wish I had read these reviews before signing up. Similar story, 6/8 weeks to process has now turned into 3 months. Still deducting my account. I have been lied to and told my policy would be mailed 5/18/21 (Applied 3/4/21) two weeks later, still no policy in the mail. I called customer service. The reply was, "your application is still pending, there is nothing I can help you with. You cannot cancel your application". REALLY??? My original rep replied via text with my receipt from originally signing up along with my application trying to trick me into thinking I had an approved policy. He also mentioned I could access my policy on line. I sent a photo of my computer showing when I try to set up my account access, I get the message in red that no such policy existed. After that text....crickets. So, I sent a reply on the website inquiry and have been told my application is in fact incomplete, nobody has mailed it to me and they will cancel my application. We will see. I will update and see how long this REALLY takes.
