Company makes filing a claim difficult, also makes it seem as if insured doesn't have enough insurance to file claim. |

This is absolutely the worst company for insurance. As a new driver with myself and a random person who I did not add nor is in my household is on my policy, my insurance cost for "full" coverage is over 300 a month with 0 accidents/reports/ over a year of driving experience - this does not cover rental or gap insurance- is complete bull! Geico has already signed me on and included both rental and gap insurance for $90 less than these **** have done! My car was stolen and they want me to wait 45-60 days before I get the check and/or a car replacement, it's ridiculous! I would give these people -infinity if it was a possible option, they are simply crooks/con artists and worthless! |

I have had Trexis for 12 months now with full coverage insurance on both vehicles. I had to make a comprehensive claim for hitting a deer with my car and it was totaled out because there was a lot of damages done. They gave me 2 options: keep the car and they send me a responsible check and I keep the car OR take a payout and give them the car. I chose to give them the car. The payout was very reasonable and they were on it from day one. The rental vehicle was given to us immediately and everything was done quickly. I would highly recommend them. |

Trexis insurance hasn't paid for my mailbox or Suburban that was damaged when their insured driver crashed into my driveway on 12/26/20. They claim there was no damage to my property and just closed the case last week, after stalling for months, claiming they would pay for all damage done by their driver. They have many pictures the very obvious damage. They just decided they didn't want to pay after finding out how much it would cost. |

Terrible company. Very hard to get ahold of someone during a claim, and they'll find any reason not to pay out a claim. Do yourself a favor and pay a little bit more every month for an established company like state farm and avoid these cheap companies like the plague. The only positive review on here is probably paid for or someone with the company. |
TrustedChoice.com's Final Review

We award Trexis Insurance a final rating of 1.5 out of 5 stars. The insurance company is one of the younger carriers on the market today, with just under 25 years' of experience under their belt. Though Trexis has a high rating through AM Best, they are not currently rated or accredited by the BBB.
The insurance company also has had a large volume of complaints and negative customer reviews filed against them in recent years. In fact, we're not entirely sure their one positive review spotted on the web is entirely legitimate. Worse, however, is that Trexis hardly provides any details about their coverage or claims process for current or prospective customers.
Overall, we highly recommend working together with your independent insurance agent to survey your other options for a quality insurance company, and skip looking into Trexis altogether.
